Why I Do This Work
When my son was first diagnosed with autism, one message I heard over and over was that parents of autistic children experience incredibly high levels of stress.
I didn't need the research to tell me that—it was something I was living. But I also knew I didn't want stress and overwhelm to define my parenting or our family life.
So I set out to figure out what actually helps people feel calmer and more grounded in the face of major life stressors. Drawing on my background in psychology and health research, I immersed myself in the science of well-being, behavior change, and parenting. I was searching for a way to experience more joy and ease, even when life remained hard.
Along the way, I discovered tools that genuinely changed the way I experienced parenting —and, in turn, changed our family.

During our sessions, I’ll provide a supportive, non-judgmental space to explore the areas where you need the most support. We'll talk through your current challenges and themes, and together, identify an initial focus based on what feels most valuable to you. Therapy often focuses on healing past experiences that are affecting your present. Therapists are licensed health professionals who diagnose and treat mental health conditions. Coaching, on the other hand, is future-focused and supports personal growth based on your self-initiated goals.

This is totally up to you. Typically change takes time, so a standard practice is weekly sessions for 8-12 weeks depending on your goals. However, you can choose the pace that works best for you. Sessions can also be one-time or as needed.

The initial discovery call is free. After that, each coaching session is $75 for 60 minutes (with the first session extended to 90 minutes).
If you have an HSA or FSA account, you may be able to use it for coaching services. Let me know if you’re interested in exploring this option, and I’ll help you get started.

I'm an NBC-HWC board-certified health and wellness coach specializing in emotional wellbeing. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, am a certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction instructor (MBSR-T), and bring over 20 years of experience in health research and education.
